Example Project 2 -- A pair of amps for bi-amp speakers
|

I have a pair of dead
Sanyo integrated Amps i bought for the massive transformer [back panel says the draw
is up to 350 VA], heatsinks & chassis. I plan on using a 2050 in each. They are a very good fit for the space between the heatsinks. The transformer has +47/0/-47 and +20/0/-20 rails. The 47V is too high so i will use the 20V rail for about 2x35w into 2 ohms(?). A regulator stage (or 2) to take the 20V to 15V for the op amps (& transistors?). I hope to use the lo-pass for one channel & run the other full range. Or use the lo-pass as sub-sonic filter and mod the bass-boast into a crossover. Or ... David Dlugos |
